Holiday Fair 2013 of The Echo Park Craft Fair, Los Angeles

Echo Park Craft Fair, Silverlake

Founded in 2009 by Beatrice Valenzuela and Rachel Craven, the Echo Park Craft Fair (EPCF) is a bi-annual design event in Silverlake featuring over 3,000 visitors and 70 artists and designers.

The pair visualized a space that would showcase and nurture the many talented artisans, designers and craftspeople living in their inspired community on the eastside of Los Angeles. Originally held in Valenzuela’s backyard featuring just a handful of friends,

The Echo Park Craft Fair has grown into a highly anticipated bi-annual arts event, attr-act ing thousands of visitors from around Los Angeles and beyond.

Many EPCF designers have become well established since the Fair’s inception, including Kathryn Bentley/Dream Collective, Kathleen Whittaker, Samantha Grisdale, and Valenzuela and Craven as well.

The EPCF continues to assemble an eclectic collection of offerings, bringing together a thriving community of local artists for a truly one-of-a-kind gathering.
